The weekend will be an opportunity to join an intimate group to share yoga, meditation and community in the beautiful Minnesota north woods. This is an approachable retreat for folks who are new to the practice of yoga as well as experienced yogis.
Meet your retreat hosts:
Elisabeth Pletcher of Yess Yoga is an E-RYT500 YA certified trauma informed yoga instructor who will guide our weekend with movement, meditation, breathwork and sauna sessions.
Steph Shea and the borderland lodge team will provide the creature comforts to allow for deep rest and nourishing and nurturing meals and a host of outdoor experiences.
Immerse yourself in nature & unplug from the demands of your everyday life.
Registration Includes:
morning and afternoon movement and meditation to promote rest and healing, including Yin and yoga nidra
Hot DAILY breakfast, saturday and Sunday dinner provided
opportunity for self-guided introspection. bring your journal or current craft, grab a pair of snowshoes and immerse yourself in the forest, or relax in our 8-person barrel sauna from silver creek sauna co.
Lodging Options
Shared cabins - $875 each
Bunk with other retreat goers in our shared 2-4 bedroom jack pine, bear paw, or wolf den cabins. rooms include 2 twins, 1 queen, or 1 king and all come with a single registration (1 guest per room).
Option to add a friend or partner (and 2nd registration +$575) to your room. know someone else attending the retreat? let us know and we can assign you to the same cabin.
Private Lodge room - $1,100
reserve your own lodge room for the weekend. stargazer comes with 1 registration, but sleeps up to 4 guests across 1 queen and 2 twin beds, and includes a kitchen, bathroom, and beautiful view of gunflint lake. additional registrations +$575.

We require a $250 deposit due upon registration, with payment in full + all tax by January 29, 2025.

Retreat guests will be treated to a welcome happy hour Friday night, daily hot breakfast, and dinners Saturday and Sunday night.
Saturday and Sunday lunches will be on your own. Cabins are equipped with full kitchens and grills, and there are several restaurants along the trail providing delicious, homemade food!
Dietary restrictions? Let us know! We’ll be happy to accommodate.

borderland lodge is located in remote wilderness. 4/awd vehicles are required for winter visitors. we offer complimentary snowshoes for guests and are located next to the upper gunflint nordic ski trails. passes available in the lodge - just bring your skis!
